Don’t be surprised if someone backs out of an agreement or makes a move that flies in the face of their previous intentions. Consider the climate to be fluid and that things could change again in a matter of weeks. This is not an excuse to avoid taking action on a red flag but it is something to bear in mind should you feel disappointed, even betrayed, by someone’s behaviour. With five planets now in retrograde, more than one situation is in transition and until it has completed its journey, a judgement cannot be reached. Monitor but don’t manipulate.

Mercury and Mars have been close-together since mid-October, which may explain the feeling that the pace of life is quicker than ever and people appear to be permanently on the attack. Even you, maybe. Uranus, the revolutionary, is now hooked up to both planets setting the stage for fireworks, whether of the welcome kind or those that upend an endeavour or an alliance. There’s not a lot you can do about someone who is determined to go their own sweet way, but you can be on your guard for situations that could blow up given the right ammunition.
