This is a slippery astroscape. Not everything is as real as it seems, and you’ll need to tread carefully so as to avoid a spill. It’s all right to be uncertain. It’s okay to ask for a little more time. What would be wrong would be to put your signature to something that you are not sure about or that someone is pressuring you into. That said, you can’t ignore a situation that is threatening to fall apart or a matter that could get out of control. Complicated, I admit, but under Neptune what you think you see could be something else entirely.

The week may go by with nothing of note to record in your journal, but the chances are that it’s going to turn out to be memorable. A total eclipse set among other power-packed alignments has life-changing properties, and certainly outlook-changing properties for Gemini. How you see your world is likely to be affected, whether a journey in miles is involved or one of knowledge and experience. For some Geminis, this is a period of dreamy developments while for others, illusions are to be shattered. Either way, there will be a new reality to face a little further down the line.

This is an electrifying month but also one in which much can change, and in the wink of an eye. Will it be wonderful or could events upset the applecart? Well, maybe a bit of both but then things have needed to change for a while. First and foremost, August’s stars encourage changes in your outlook whether by being in a different location or seeing situations in a new light. And when your perception changes, everything can change. The lunar eclipse of the 28th brings to an end an old chapter of life, and in an unusual way. However, the reason may lie in events last March.

If there is a theme for the year ahead it is going where you’ve never gone before, whether this means changing your tactics and opinions or quite literally making journeys to foreign parts. Aim to tick off at least one of those items on your dream-list. Travel is a big theme for the next couple of years, as is being closer to your family.
