Geminis are magicians when it comes to resolving difficulties or deflecting attention away from a bad situation in order to gain time to fix it. And your skills will be much in demand this week. Maybe you have met the immovable object, and your irresistible force is temporarily stymied, but there will be a way through. Kicking the can further down the road is not recommended. On this occasion honesty and cooperation with others are your best tools. There will be Geminis who are currently celebrating their good fortune but there are a great many more who are nursing a painful bruise.

Are you feeling the heat? As far as the astrology goes, it doesn’t get much hotter than this. By which I mean, exciting, unexpected, disturbing. The week opens with Mercury’s retrograde turn, followed by a full moon and Jupiter’s entry into your third house of communications. But the main event, and in play throughout the week, is the meeting of Mars and Uranus in your sign. Especially if you are a May Geminian or you have planets and points on or near four degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces and Virgo, you are in for a big surprise. Whether you’re thrilled with what happens depends. Remain alert and adaptable.

If there is a theme for the year ahead it is going where you’ve never gone before, whether this means changing your tactics and opinions or quite literally making journeys to foreign parts. Aim to tick off at least one of those items on your dream-list. Travel is a big theme for the next couple of years, as is being closer to your family.
