Almost every month this year my monthly astro-scape has been a sea of red highlighter but not so this one, which suggests November should be relatively sweet and simple. But – and it's a very big but – keep your eyes trained on events on or near the 15th. Aside from a sun-Neptune square, which tends to create great confusion – the ministry of disinformation will be working overtime – Saturn and Pluto reach their third and final square in the cycle that began in 1982. Hard angles between Saturn and Pluto have a kind of 'last straw' quality about them: people give up trying and reach for the detonator, which we can do in our personal lives if a situation can no longer be born and it is something that can happen in national and international terms. Just to clarify, cast your mind back to the last time Saturn and Pluto were in hard aspect (August 2001)...
