Until August 7th 2002 Jupiter occupied a highly favourable position in your chart so you may well be coming into 2003 with a solid achievement under your belt. However, if you had little luck last year or it seems plans you made failed to materialize, do not entirely give up hope - during 2003 Jupiter continues to inspire the best in other people and you could do exceedingly well from business ventures, money-making schemes and in a few cases from an inheritance.
The most important planetary move of the year has to be Saturn’s entry into your opposite sign, Cancer. This transit will take two years to run its course and although you may not enjoy every single one of Saturn’s learning curves those things that come together under this planet are built to last. To begin with it will be the December birthdays that come under Saturnian scrutiny but by the end of the year all but the 5th - 20th January birthdays will have something to show for this planet’s mettle-testing influence. With Saturn as your ruler you are born with the ability to persist in the face of opposition yet sometimes, when Saturn forms a ‘hard’ angle to your sun, instead of experiencing hardship and struggle you reap the rewards for earlier efforts. Therefore the next two years could be years of great achievement for some Capricorns. The exit of Uranus from the area of finances is one of the year’s pluses. Out with the old and in with the new is the theme, not just for the New Year, but the whole year. With Saturn revealing where you have run out of road, there will be new and very different avenues opening up for your skills and your interests. No one relishes the prospect of a learning curve, but for the first half of the year you seem to be making up for past errors and running into situations that smack of ancient history. However, from late September onwards Jupiter’s passage through the ninth house of far horizons will take you far in both terrestrial and personal/professional terms. Saturn's child is used to waiting for the good things of life but the last eighteen months have been trying, even by your standards. Saturn's passage through Cancer has caused frustration and aggravation, although those who have achieved a high position will see it last and those who have made powerful alliances will see them prosper. In 2005 Jupiter comes to the rescue: successes of one sort or another can be expected, and you will certainly get what you deserve: the work you have put in and the foundations you have laid will at last produce results. January may not fulfil this prediction, nor may the events of early March and mid-April, but any disappointments will soon be forgotten in light of the joys to come in the second half of the year.

Let's face it, Saturn has not been an asset in the love department, although you have no doubt been through enough in the past couple of years to write a novel! Until August your partners continue to be your teachers, providing many lessons in patience and stoicism, however, relationships built of the right stuff get even stronger. There could be some truth to the maxim that you can't have money and love, since your love life could leave a lot to be desired in 2005 while your career should be positively blooming. People recognize your worth and there could be awards and plaudits coming your way - February and October contain more than one starry moment. Speculate to accumulate in the first six months then maintain a holding pattern for the following two years. A year that opens with generous Venus in your sign has to be a good year, and certainly a better one than the last two. It might behove you to make the most of this great start by setting in motion as many plans as you can before mid-March, especially those of a romantic or partnership-oriented nature. The character of the year is slow and steady - entirely suited to the Capricorn spirit - however, when opportunities come in they'll do so overnight and they'll demand an instant response - take the 14th February, 5th May, 6th July and 2nd September for instance. You may travel more widely in 2006 and there will be greater contact with people from abroad. A meeting or item of news could inspire a journey in March and there is an aura of resolution and reunion about both March and July.

With Saturn out of the zone of one-to-one relationships and the lovely Venus in there, you begin 2006 in great shape. And you might just ask yourself what have you got to lose by following your heart, even if it means sacrificing a little security? Grand gestures bring great results, especially after 3rd February and before 5th March. Nonetheless, if you are in a long-standing relationship partners could prove less emotionally and sexually forthcoming, or difficult circumstances could cause them to be more demanding, thus you will need to exhibit patience for much of the year. When there is a change, it will be sudden, and may well come in the form of a written or spoken communication and involve travel or people/places at a distance. The past also has a big part to play, whether you return to a person, occupation or location you have known before or because you will be digging into your family history or researching a project. The second half of the year is entirely different from the first: in part this is to do with the absence of Pluto, which occupied your sign between January and June but it is also because other people have a much greater influence on your life during this quarter. 2008 continues to be a year of growth and opportunity and now such things come to you through the kindness, love and approval of others. You might like to think of these developments as payback for your efforts in the past. July is the most dynamic and opportunity-laden month with the 3rd, 9th and 18th looking outstanding. Travel there is in abundance and this is the summer to head to the opposite side of the globe, or at least a part of the country you've never seen before. A summer of adventure and expansion awaits.

Other people - their role in your life and what happens to them - play a huge part in the summer's story, and it may be that developments arising in June take the full three months to play out, thereby making mid-September a time of endings and beginnings. Two other key events of the summer take place on or near the 26th June and the 21st July.
LOVE
Saturn has probably hit you the hardest in your love life: while some have been able to tie the marital knot and put a romance on a more permanent footing others have had painful episodes to go through with a partner, or seen a relationship end, and in general the last two years have left many Capricorns feeling somewhat alone and unsupported. This might not be the sexiest year you've ever had, but you are discovering that you have wonderful friends, and perhaps your best friend is your significant other.
