A couple of weeks ago, a situation may have come to a head with the result that you have cut your ties with someone or suspended an endeavour. If so, the climate has changed and it may now be possible to renegotiate or at least to take the sting out of the situation. Saturday’s new moon falls in the zone of relating, signalling a new season for all things of the relationship kind. And with Uranus about to join the party, the unexpected and the unusual have a part to play in it all. If someone offers you an olive branch, don’t be too proud to accept it. New beginnings are in the air.

It is important to hear someone out before you tell them what you think and what you intend to do. Not only could there be more to the story than you believe, but sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. On the one hand, the astrology is perfect for thrashing out a complicated matter or getting through a challenging job, but it is not so good for taking someone to task about a situation! Let live a little. Give someone some breathing room. Especially if you have a late October birthday or planets and points on or near five degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo and Aquarius, this is another of those times when silence is golden.

May’s starry focus is on relationships and the way other people impact your life. It could be a time of coming together in the happiest of circumstances or it may be a period when the divisions between you and others seem at their most extreme. The full moon of the 1st brings simmering situations to a head while the new moon of the 16th presides over the beginning of a new chapter. Pluto is a major player so events from the past or situations that have been hidden emerge to be dealt with and moved on from. And this theme is primarily related to home and family.

Stability and security may have been absent from life for a while, but things are changing. From the end of April Uranus will be gone from the relationship zone. However, Uranus is also responsible for those fabulous sparks that fly between two people. Don’t rule out a fling that will change your life, nor believe that you are immune from falling for someone who is already taken… Those of you born in 1981/1982 are most likely to fall deliriously in love, and also the ones most vulnerable to breakups and playing away from home. With this in mind, be prepared for the earth to move on or near the 17 February and 12 August.
