The Week Ahead for Virgo
Monday, August 3rd – Sunday, August 9th
Ideally, with the Sun wending its way through your twelfth solar house, you should be slowing down the pace and paying attention to your inner world. Rest, relaxation, contemplation – these should be top of your to-do list. However, since life does not always fit the astrology like a glove, you may instead be at everyone’s beck and call and wondering when you’ll ever get some R&R. The reason to try to get some quiet time is that you may be missing some important signals, which if unattended could lead to a missed opportunity or a problem further down the line.

Monday, July 27th – Sunday, August 2nd
Full moons bring about endings, and given that the past few weeks have been full of controversy and uncertainty, that should be a good thing. However, some full moons exacerbate tensions and bring situations to a tipping point, factors you should keep in mind even if everything in your world is hunky-dory. Venus in your sign is also squaring Mars, so for some Virgos this is going to be a huge week for love and romance. The world may be heaving – your life may be heaving! – but you know the old adage; if the rug is pulled out from under you, learn to dance on a moving carpet.

Rest and relaxation are a top priority. This is a period of the year in which to recharge your physical, emotional and spiritual batteries. That said, there is more than one development that could get in the way of your perfect plans. (Who said nothing amazing ever happens to you?) There will be signs and signals of things to come earlier in the month, but by the 28th and the lunar eclipse, the cat will be out of the bag. Whether you decide to embark on a course that shocks other people, or vice versa, and someone throws you for a loop, things may never be the same again.

The Year Ahead for Virgo
2026 is a year of golden opportunities – make the most of events on or near 18 July and 4 November – and while you can learn from the past, you don’t want to live there. Under 2026’s powerful alignments, your happiness lies in going after what (or who) you believe in, even if it means throwing up a piece of your past and entering foreign territory. From July, Jupiter will be moving through the twelfth house in preparation for its transit of Virgo from summer 2027. In tandem, you will be in a period of preparation. Not only are health and fitness important issues to get behind, but the endeavours you begin in the second half of 2026 will take a year to mature.
