The Week Ahead for Virgo
Monday, April 27 – Sunday, May 3
Travel may have its share of issues, particularly on Friday, so if you’re heading to distant places leave plenty of room for detours and delays. And the same goes for communications. This is a climate in which misunderstandings can easily happen and errors could be made through lack of clear communication. Before you decide something is over or someone does not have the best of intentions, consider the possibility that information has gone missing or that events beyond anyone’s control have got in the way of normal service.
Don’t jump the gun.

It’s been quite the roller-coaster since the year began and here comes another vertiginous ride. While some Virgos will indeed have the ride of their lives, and see their lives changed in the best of ways, others will feel events have been taken out of their hands and they’re not that pleased with the results. Time changes everything. So, don’t be too quick to judge people or the way everything has panned out. Not only is Uranus now in a premium position to help you make necessary changes but a cluster of other influences is helping bring about the end of a major chapter and the start of a new one.

You don’t have to travel to a far-off place to get a new perspective on life, but it is one way of distancing yourself from stressful situations and rebooting your optimism and resolve. This part of the year is about rising above it all and focusing on those things that lift your spirits. A contract could be ready to sign or you could be completing a course that will enhance your CV and open up new pathways. Even in a small way, getting out of your comfort zone will do great things. Not that May is the smoothest month on record and the unexpected and the unusual are in plentiful supply.

2026 is a year of golden opportunities – make the most of events on or near 18 July and 4 November – and while you can learn from the past, you don’t want to live there. Under 2026’s powerful alignments, your happiness lies in going after what (or who) you believe in, even if it means throwing up a piece of your past and entering foreign territory. From July, Jupiter will be moving through the twelfth house in preparation for its transit of Virgo from summer 2027. In tandem, you will be in a period of preparation. Not only are health and fitness important issues to get behind, but the endeavours you begin in the second half of 2026 will take a year to mature.
