The Week Ahead for Virgo

Virgos have a tendency to overthink. You can talk yourself into and out of a situation regardless of your initial response to it. Put another way, you can have an attractive proposition in front of you but by the time you’ve picked it apart it’s looking like the worst idea ever. Well, maybe that’s an exaggeration, but this is not the time to look a gift horse in the mouth. Not only is Jupiter expanding your horizons but Sunday’s new moon is encouraging the start of a new venture or the birth of something that has been in gestation for a while.

It’s hard to say a bad word about these alignments. They’re brimming with good cheer. So, on paper at least, you’ll have nothing to complain about. In fact, you could be celebrating. On the other hand, if times are tough and problems seem insoluble, these same influences can inspire you to keep on going and even help move a situation in the right direction. Sometimes, of course, Jupiter as the bringer of joy can turn into the hurler of thunderbolts, so should a situation be getting out of control, now is the moment to cut your losses.

The Month Ahead for Virgo
January 2026
Make time for fun and being with people who bring out the joy in you. That way, you’ll sail through January’s choppy waters as if they were liquid gold, which in a way, they are. You may have been questioning whether a job or a relationship is right for you, and hoping that events would help you make up your mind. And the cosmos has answered your plea. The new moon (18th) sets a new cycle in motion and over the course of the next six to eight weeks events will clearly show you where your talents and affections do not lie. You deserve better.

The Year Ahead for Virgo
2026 is a year of golden opportunities – make the most of events on or near 18 July and 4 November – and while you can learn from the past, you don’t want to live there. Under 2026’s powerful alignments, your happiness lies in going after what (or who) you believe in, even if it means throwing up a piece of your past and entering foreign territory. From July, Jupiter will be moving through the twelfth house in preparation for its transit of Virgo from summer 2027. In tandem, you will be in a period of preparation. Not only are health and fitness important issues to get behind, but the endeavours you begin in the second half of 2026 will take a year to mature.
