If you know a storm is coming, you plan accordingly and with Mercury turning retrograde next week, plus a total lunar eclipse, dealing with loose ends and making sure you have appointments booked and plans locked down is what you might call a good idea. The Moon will be in your sign mid-week making this the best time to exert your influence and to make headway in general. Not normally given to a glass-half-empty attitude, you could be looking at a situation a little too darkly. There is a big difference between being realistic and being negative.

Why couldn’t things be easier, I hear you say. The trouble is when you’ve got competing influences of entirely opposite natures, either one aspect of existence is going swimmingly and another in the weeds or one situation is sending mixed messages. Knowing what you want in your heart is always a good first step, then you can start figuring out the best strategy. Sometimes what starts out as one thing turns into something else, which is baffling, but what it is now is the reality. Don’t make excuses for someone’s behaviour or try to explain why you aren’t feeling the same as you once did.

What just happened? You’re going to be saying this a lot in the next few weeks. Fortunately, you are one of the most adaptable – nay, ingenious! – signs so you may well be able to turn a situation completely around. A total lunar eclipse conjoined to Saturn (14th) is just one part of a highly complex picture, and it may be that you have no choice other than to accept the way the cards have fallen. What’s done is done. Certainly, around this time chickens come home to roost. There is more of the story to come in April, however, so holding still for now could be to your advantage.
