This week’s astrology has the wow-factor, and then some. Tuesday’s solar eclipse takes place at the top of your chart inviting change of the most unexpected variety, in many cases related to your career and/or your material world. Uranus is squaring the eclipse so there is a sudden and dramatic aura to events. There is nothing essentially good or bad about this eclipse, and it may even pass without your realizing anything significant has occurred, but even the smallest anomaly could prove game-changing. If you’re ready to take a leap of faith, do so with confidence and if the earth shifts beneath your feet, maintain your balance.

Take advantage of this cosmic breathing space. With an eclipse brewing, it is always wise to deal with tasks that you find onerous and put in place firewalls and back-up plans. On Saturday, Saturn heads into your twelfth solar house for a little over two years, during which time you can put in the building blocks of your future. Time spent in preparation is seldom wasted… It is also a period in which you’ll want to boost your health and fitness. What you may have to overcome, however, is any sense of being a victim. Sometimes you can be the victim of circumstances, but it is far more important to marshal your resources and dig yourself out of any perceived hole.

Unforgettable is one way of describing February, unprecedented is another. A solar eclipse at the highest point of your solar chart (17th) speaks of unparallelled opportunities, particularly of a career nature. Your efforts over the years may now be rewarded. However, there is a but. Anything not built of the right stuff, anything or anyone not worthy of you, will be revealed in their true colours. It is a time of awakenings and fresh starts. Think of this also as a time to clean house; a time to rid yourself of anything covered in cobwebs. All change is good.

The Year Ahead for Taurus
This is the second year running that the astrology is like nothing we’ve seen before, which means you have to be flexible and philosophical about what comes or goes. For many, it’s a year when family comes first and for others it’s about expanding your territory, whether in the sense of spreading your influence or a bigger and better home and more people with whom to share it! There could be a lot of travel, especially in the first six months, and some of you will embark on a course to increase your knowledge or add to your bank of skills.
