The Week Ahead for Virgo
Monday, October 26th – Sunday, November 1st
Do not judge the rest of the week by its opening. Monday’s full moon could preside over travel issues and communication blips, which may simply slow you down or thrust a major spanner in the works. With Pluto in the mix, there are sure to be hidden factors at work, which once exposed will change the way things are done thereafter. Often under Pluto, an old order comes to an end, yet a new one is not ready to replace it. With this in mind, avoid trying to rectify a situation or abandoning it until you have acquired some space and distance.

Even if you’re sitting in warm and sunny climes, the astrology is determinedly mulchy and mildewy. Wherever you are Pluto is reminding you that whatever the surface appearance of situations it’s what’s going on deep down that matters. Sometimes even when you know where the root of something lies, it’s difficult to get it out. Which is where a little patience and a retrograde Mercury may come in, encouraging to return over previous ground and see what new angles you can find. Try not to worry if an event has to change or someone alters their mind, there’s a reason, and it’s a good one.

Until the 14th, Mercury will be taking you over old ground, but it is simultaneously helping you make important connections – both in the sense of people and understandings – which will help your overall progress. Once past the 22nd, the astro-dynamic changes and the steady pace of life suddenly gathers momentum. An unexpected development could throw out your schedule and set you on a new course, and the most likely areas to deliver a surprise are those of career and home/family life. Don’t leave it too late to tell some how you feel about them or what plans you have.

2026 is a year of golden opportunities – make the most of events on or near 18 July and 4 November – and while you can learn from the past, you don’t want to live there. Under 2026’s powerful alignments, your happiness lies in going after what (or who) you believe in, even if it means throwing up a piece of your past and entering foreign territory. From July, Jupiter will be moving through the twelfth house in preparation for its transit of Virgo from summer 2027. In tandem, you will be in a period of preparation.
